Compact Juicer: Power Of A Full Size Juicer

When shopping for a compact juicer you are looking for many of the same things you would look for in a full sized juicer:
  • Highly durable parts that stand up to routine use.
  • Chute that is large enough to accept at least larger chunks of produce.
  • Ability to juice most basic fruits and vegetables.
  • Simple and fast operations.
  • Name brands you can trust.
In many instances, the only difference between basic full sized fruit juicers and a mini juicer is the amount of counter space they take up. Some compact juicers will even have larger sized chutes that rival some full sized models.

Don't be fooled into thinking a compact juicer is somehow inferior to a full sized juicer!

Just like full sized juicers, you should choose your mini juicer according to features to ensure it meets your needs. They may be small, but many are quite mighty as well. Choose well and you will save counter space, money and a lot of frustration that comes with selecting poorly!

The compact juicer has many advantages

The biggest advantage of purchasing a compact juicer is the smaller size. You don't have to devote as much counter space to the machine and they tend to be a lot lighter and compact so you can easily move them around from one area of the kitchen to another. A mini juicer can also be used as a portable device that goes with you from one home to another or to other locations.

Yet, there are some other advantages to purchasing smaller sized, compact juicing machines. They are easy to store away if you aren't going to be juicing every day. They also tend to be a bit lower in price than the best full sized juicing machines.

A
Centrifugal juicer in general tends to be lower in price than the more advanced masticating juicers, but when you go with more compact designs you can save even more money. This is great if you are working on a tight budget or just want to try out juicing to see if it fits well into your life prior to making a more substantial investment.

To determine whether a compact juicer or full sized juicer is best for your needs, consider the following factors:

  • How often you will be using the machine.
  • How much juice you will want to make at one time.
  • What types of fruits and/or vegetables you will want to juice.
  • If you would like your juicer to serve other functions in the kitchen.

One thing you cannot expect from a mini juicer is food processing functions. It's true that the technology invested in larger sized masticating juicer allows those machines to serve in a variety of other ways, including chopping, grinding, and even making fresh pasta. A mini juicer is going to serve fresh juice and not much more.

What you can expect from a good compact juicer is a nice output of rich, nutrient-dense juice with bold flavor. The more you can afford to pay for your mini juicer the richer and healthier the juice is probably going to be, so spend some time looking over the juicers on the page.

One of them just may be the perfect match for your juicing needs!

If you are just starting out with juicing or are considering a raw foods diet, one of the lower priced centrifugal or mini juicers may be a great starting point to see how easily you fall into the lifestyle.
